A participatory, active and engaging programme for high-potential women leaders in the travel, tourism and hospitality sector.
This Programme is for high-potential women leaders in the travel, tourism and hospitality sector. Participants will have experience in managing teams and/or programmes, and be committed to making an impact in the sector through their leadership.
It is developed and facilitated by recognised leaders in the field: Alessandra Alonso, MBA, FRSA and Dr Lucy Ferguson are recognised experts in gender and tourism.

Alessandra Alonso, MBA, FRSA is a thought leader with over two decades of experience mentoring women, working in impact, and educating the sector around diversity, equity and inclusion issues.

Dr Lucy Ferguson is an acclaimed gender and tourism trainer and researcher who regularly collaborates with UN Tourism and UN Women worldwide.
Structure
- Online preparatory session (90 minutes) Introduction to the programme, getting to know each other, review of the preparatory project, approximately two weeks before the in-person training
- 3-day in-person programme Taken either as a residential retreat or as part of an open programme
- Online follow-up session (90 minutes) Reflection on learnings, explore how these have been put into practice, peer exchange on remaining challenges and support needed, approximately six weeks after the in-person component
